Check valve to vertical piping is determined to protect a pump against backslash effects of the operation fluid or when the pump runs idle. Check valve to vertical piping is not functionally framed as a stop valve.

The basis of the check valve to vertical piping is formed by a compact body made of rolled or forged steel and by shutting plug. Check valve to vertical piping is made in a version without junction or passing - type KM 9901.1, with junction - type KM 9902.1 and with automatic passing - type KM 9903.1.
